Hello, a friend with an HP Pavilion G6 (he doesn't know the exact model, he's going to check out the right one) has a problem: he updated the drivers from the AMD site, selecting the right OS and GPU series, but, after the update (to the 14.4 version), he found that the GPU,an AMD HD Radeon 6470M is now detected as a 7400M. I read that they are quite the same thing, if you check the tech specs you can see it, but we both don't think it is a good thing, especially with games (he usually plays on that PC).
What can he do? Should we do a System Restore to the last installed point of restoring (luckily, it was yesterday)?
Would it work, so that he has the previous used drivers? Please help us! For further details, we'll add them later.
